An interdisciplinary workshop bringing together scholars to explore the philosophical and ethical dimensions of tokenization and digital twin technologies.
This two-day workshop focuses on conceptual and normative questions surrounding tokenization and digital twin technologies. Bringing together perspectives from philosophy, ethics, and blockchain research, the workshop creates space for critical reflection on how these technologies reshape notions of representation, reality, and value. Participants will engage in in-depth academic exchange across disciplinary boundaries, fostering dialogue on the societal and ethical implications of emerging digital infrastructures. Hosted by the Zug Institute for Blockchain Research (ZIBR), the workshop aims to strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration within the humanities-oriented study of blockchain technologies.
